A Whimsical, Animated Character
The Casey Jr. locomotive is designed as an anthropomorphic 2-4-0 steam engine, brimming with personality. Its most prominent feature is a friendly, expressive face on the front of the boiler. With large, kind eyes and a cheerful smile, the locomotive appears happy and eager to take guests on a journey through Storybook Land.
Vibrant Circus-Themed Colors
True to its circus origins, the locomotive is painted in a bright and festive color palette. The main body of the engine is a cheerful red, accented with bold yellow and blue details. The wheels are a vibrant blue, often with yellow or red connecting rods, adding to the playful aesthetic. Gold scrollwork and pinstriping can be found on various parts of the engine, including the cab and the tender, enhancing its ornate, storybook appearance.
Classic Locomotive Features with a Twist
The locomotive boasts classic steam engine components, each with a touch of whimsy:

An Interesting Secret
A notable fun fact about the Casey Circus Train is that the charming locomotive car is not the actual engine of the train. The propulsion system is cleverly housed in the calliope car that directly follows, ensuring a smooth and steady ride for all the circus "animals" in the cars behind.  
This delightful locomotive serves as the friendly face of one of an opening-day theme park attractions, continuing to charm guests of all ages with its classic animation-inspired design and cheerful demeanor.
